Caring for patients across west central Florida. All four physicians treat the full range of digestive and liver conditions, and all are accepting new patients.
Care Across Three Offices
Elite Gastro sees patients in Tampa, Lutz, and Trinity, and our physicians share one phone line and one scheduling team across all three. If an appointment is available sooner at another office, we will offer it to you. Most patients find the offices close enough together that they choose whichever is most convenient on the day.
Our physicians also care for patients in the hospital and perform procedures at Tampa Bay Endoscopy Center, New Port Richey Surgery Center, and BayCare Surgery Center in Trinity. Hospital affiliations include HCA Florida Trinity, HCA Florida South Tampa, AdventHealth Carrollwood, St. Joseph’s Hospital, and BayCare Morton Plant North Bay Hospital. That continuity matters: if you are admitted, you are likely to be seen by the same group that knows your history.
Choosing a Physician
For most concerns — reflux, abdominal pain, changes in bowel habits, screening colonoscopy, abnormal liver tests — any of our gastroenterologists can help, and the soonest available appointment is usually the best choice.
Some situations call for specific expertise. Dr. Mina Elnemr completed additional fellowship training in therapeutic endoscopy and performs endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP, including ERCP in patients whose anatomy has been altered by previous surgery — procedures relatively few gastroenterologists in the region offer. Dr. Joshua Soliman sees patients in English and Arabic. Dr. Donna Powell and Dr. Nader Daoud both care for the full range of digestive and liver conditions, with particular interest in colorectal cancer screening and inflammatory bowel disease.
New Patients
All of our physicians are accepting new patients, and we participate with most major insurance plans — see our insurances accepted page. Telehealth visits are available for new consultations, follow-ups, test results, and medication management. If you are due for routine screening and otherwise healthy, you may be able to skip the office visit entirely through direct access colonoscopy.
