Mina Elnemr, MD

Dr. Mina Elnemr is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He specializes in both general gastroenterology and in advanced and therapeutic endoscopy.
Dr. Elnemr earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He underwent rigorous internal medicine training and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

After residency he went on to complete a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital. Furthermore, he did an additional fellowship in Therapeutic Endoscopy at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. This complex and advanced training has allowed him to excel in both general endoscopic procedures in addition to more advanced cutting edge therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP, advanced mucosal resection and third space endoscopy.

From 2018 to the beginning of 2022, Dr. Elnemr went on to establish the therapeutic endoscopy service at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Michigan where he cared for complex patients.

Dr. Elnemr and his family relocated to Florida in 2022 and has been practicing in the Tampa Bay area since then. He sees patients in his clinics in both Carrollwood and South Tampa. In addition, he performs his procedures at the Tampa Bay Endoscopy Center, HCA Florida South Tampa, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Advent Health Carrollwood.
