Dr. Elnemr relocated to Florida in 2022 and cares for patients across several hospital affiliations and three office locations. He specializes in both general gastroenterology and advanced therapeutic endoscopy.

His training includes an additional fellowship in therapeutic endoscopy, which allows him to perform procedures that few gastroenterologists in the region offer, including endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP in patients with altered anatomy, advanced mucosal resection, and third-space endoscopy. Before joining FDHS, he established the therapeutic endoscopy service at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Michigan, where he cared for medically complex patients from 2018 to 2022.

Research and Publications

Dr. Elnemr’s research has covered pre-endoscopic prediction of malignancy in indeterminate bile duct strictures, reflux in lung transplant recipients, outcomes in combined heart and liver transplantation, and family history in Barrett’s esophagus. His work has been presented at Digestive Disease Week and the AASLD annual meeting, and published in the DeBakey Cardiovascular Journal.
